Chickens - Meet Madonna

We’ve kept chickens several times over the years, and this little lady was part of our flock when we lived in La Grande, Oregon. She had recently discovered that “flying the coop” was more than just an expression and took to landing outside our windows to see what we were up to.

Our home now is a little too small for another flock, but we still have a soft spot for these curious, busy, endlessly entertaining gals and the wonderful gifts they give us.

This collection is for everyone who knows that chickens aren’t just livestock. They have personalities, opinions, routines and a remarkable ability to make themselves part of the family.
