Cats

I’ve always had a partiality for black cats. Once you’ve owned one, you’ll know why. They’re uniquely quirky, surprisingly smart, and somehow just a little more… cat-ish.

The two cats we currently rent our home from are Pookie and Boo. Pookie is all about affection and following you wherever you go. Boo, on the other hand, is a part-time observer and full-time thief.

No kidding.

He prowls the neighborhood at night and returns with an endless supply of odd objects. His most recent acquisition was a rather large kid’s football. We’re currently considering giving him dollar bills to play with in hopes of redirecting his particular set of skills toward something a little more profitable.

So, of course, cats had to have a place at Love, by Breed™.
